Scan of my ticket for the: Echo & the Bunnymen’s concert in Paris in November 1987. I don’t have a very precise reminder of this concert (well it was 24 years ago) just that it was a magical one taking place in a famous old & huge cinema in Paris. There was something magnetic when this band was on stage (I saw them twice+once McCulloch in solo). Ian’s big charisma, charm and great voice, Will Sergeant’s talent and shyness at the same time. Echo was not my favourite band, but some of their songs are just magical, so 80’s, not really New Wave, not Pop and not so much Rock, just Echo & the Bunnymen, still a big influence for actual bands.

Scan of my ticket for The Jesus and Mary Chain’s concert in Paris, France, 15 October 1987 (I was 22 years old). The concert was great but very short. They arrived in late and stayed on stage no more than 45 minutes. Then Jim Reid injured badly someone at the first rank of the audience giving a kick with the microphone stand…and the concert was finished ! going out from the concert hall I remember about great tee-shirts they were selling with a big black star and the words:”Jesus sucks” on it, I still regret I didn’t buy it ;-)Olivier Daaram Jollant
